I’m Han Altena, an independent studio producer and creative artist from the Netherlands. My story didn’t start in a studio but with instruments (thanks, mom), turntables and radio microphones. I spent years DJ’ing in clubs across the country and beyond, producing music and audio for others, and voicing promos for national radio and TV.

In a completely different lane, I worked as a mobile network architect for Vodafone before shifting into my current mix of part-time work for Apple, running my own company and producing my own music. Looking back, all those paths were quietly leading me to the same place: my own sound, my own style, my own voice.

In my studio I write, produce and mix every track myself, from the first spark to the final master. My music blends 90s hip-hop roots with modern pop, soul and funk, wrapped in a neon-lit, cinematic atmosphere that has become my signature.

Alongside my own releases, I create voice-overs, audio concepts and creative media productions for brands, stations and creators who want personality, punch and high-end quality. I also work part-time as an Apple developer, build creative projects under Creative Media and break down Formula 1 on X for more than 40,000 followers.

Outside the studio I’m a father of three, a lifelong F1 addict, and I spend as much time as possible with my girlfriend, kids, mom, friends and training with my Bohemian Shepherd, Buddy.

Everything I make is built on identity, emotion and imagination. Whether it’s music, voice work or storytelling, there’s always a piece of my life woven into the sound.
