I’m Han Altena, and I’ve spent most of my life trying to do everything at once, and somehow making it work. It started with my mom forcing instruments into my hands (thanks, mom), which naturally spiraled into a decade of DJ’ing in clubs, talking into radio mics, and voicing promos for the likes of RTL and Videoland.
My career path looks like a glitch in the matrix: I went from being a mobile network architect at Vodafone to working as technical engineer for Apple, while simultaneously running my own creative studio. It sounds like a midlife crisis, but it’s actually just a very efficient way to fund my obsession with high end gear and soul music.
In my studio, I’m a one man army. I write, produce, and mix every track from the first spark to the final master. Think 90s hip-hop roots mixed with modern soul and funk, all wrapped in a neon lit, cinematic vibe that’s become my signature sound.
When I’m not engineering tracks or building AI-driven apps, you’ll find me breaking down Formula 1 on X for 40,000+ followers (it’s a lifestyle, not a hobby), or being a father of three. And if I’m still not busy enough, I’m probably training Buddy, my Bohemian Shepherd, who is honestly the only one here who listens to me.
Everything I build, whether it’s a bassline, a voice-over, or a line of code, is fueled by a pathological need for quality and a decent amount of caffeine. No fragments, no fluff. Just soul.
